How to Fix - Not connecting with NT Server 4.0?

Not connecting with NT Server 4.0

Recently we had purchased a desktop with windows 7 for our office.
But we are unable to connect this one with the NT server 4.0 as other computers with XP or 98 can.
What is the solution ?

Can I load this computer with Wndows XP instead of Win7 using the product ID of the Win7 ?

Solutions to the Problem Not connecting with NT Server 4.0

You may have to adjust the NT LAN Manager Security Settings on your Windows 7 machine - see here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itprovistanetworking/thread/8e18df52-eaf0-4758-a1c1-87057d9f96e9.

An SBS 2003 (Small Business Server) would seem an ideal replacement for your Windows NT Server.
